I found this poster that someone designed for the Ivy Tech Community Colleges' Graphic Design program. I like the design because it is clearly conveys the schools name, program and website. This person kept the colors simple black and white with a bright pink accent which catches the observers eye. The use of ivy leaves makes a clear connection to the name of the school and aids in the understanding of the design.
I like the design of the poster except for one part. The "Ivy Tech Visual Communications"; the viewer has to rotate their head in an unnatural way to read it and this makes the overall poster less effective. I would have suggested that the words were rotated 180 degrees to make it easier to read. The letters could also be spaced out a little more as well because the message should be clear or else people won't take the time to read it.
